PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: Didi was born into a “show business family” and began her professional career at age 8 when she and her sister joined their mother in a French Cabaret Comedy Revue. She is a classically trained dancer with a strong background in Jazz (Bob Fosse, Jack Cole, Luigi, Rhett Dennis) and Tap (Tracy Everett, Paul Draper.) She attended both the acclaimed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and The Singer’s Forum in N.Y.C. as a scholarship student. Her most noteworthy performances have been in “Cats,” “42nd Street,” “Cabaret,” “Sweet Charity,” and “Godspell.” In 1995, Didi opened LaBrecque Studios, a performing arts school for children. It was then that Didi developed her interest in magic that’s evolved into her driving passion of today. In 1998, she started Adventures in Entertainment, a party and event planning company. In 2002, she began Didi Maxx Productions, an off-shoot of Adventures in Entertainment with a more theatrical flair.
“With over 18 years as a professional performer in dance and theater, Didi has mastered a unique ability to transform classical magic into an original and exciting artistic experience reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil. Witness the power of magic in a way you have never seen before and will not soon forget!”
